BetOnDroid 4.2.0 is a major release that wraps up several long-requested features from the backlog. After this version, the next few months will focus on stability and bug fixes — but for now, here’s what’s new.
What’s new
One-tap access to in-play video and statistics
Two new buttons on the home screen take you straight to events with in-play video or live statistics. No more scrolling through markets to find what’s broadcasting – tap and you’re there. Availability depends on Betfair geo restrictions and broadcasting rights.
Orders grouped by placement source
Matched and Unmatched orders are now grouped by where they were placed – BetOnDroid, the Betfair Web interface, Bet Angel, GeeksToy, or any other tool you use. If you run BetOnDroid alongside a desktop client, you can finally tell at a glance which orders came from where.
Hide bottom panel — more space for the ladder
A new setting lets you hide the bottom panel entirely. If you don’t use the price chart or the market info area, you can reclaim that screen space and give the price ladder room to breathe. Great on smaller screens.
Other improvements
- Copy to clipboard – a new menu option on each bet. Tap a bet to copy its details to the clipboard, handy when you need to share, log something quickly, or when you need to contact Betfair support team about a specific bet.
- In-play video stability – fixed several issues where the video stream would freeze or keep playing after the video tab was closed.
Bug fixes
- Fixed app startup crash affecting some older Realme devices.
How to update
If you have auto-update notifications enabled in the app, BetOnDroid 4.2.0 will notify you on next launch the new update is available. Otherwise, download the latest APK directly and install it over your current version — your settings and login session will be preserved.
